SARS INTRODUCES e@syFile EMPLOYER VERSION 8.0 | WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has launched e@syFile Employer Version 8.0, a revamped platform designed to enhance tax filing efficiency. This new version, which will replace all previous editions, becomes mandatory from 1 March 2025.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
To run e@syFile Employer 8.0, your system must meet the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit)
- RAM: 8GB
- Storage: 2GB free space (C:/ drive), with additional space required for employer data
IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS
- Employers with 50 or fewer employees who cannot upgrade their systems can continue using eFiling for submissions.
- Reconciliation data from the current version must be imported into Version 8.0.
- First-time login requires recovery details to reset the ADMIN password if necessary.
