Are you an Individuals or businesses and have forgotten your SARS e-filing username or password? Follow the next easy steps to retrieve it.
Visit the e-Filling website.
• Click on the Forgot Username tab.
• Fill in the required information, e.g. ID/passport number, contact details, registered tax number, etc.
• Click on continue.
• Choose your preferred means of communication between an email or cell number, where the One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent.
• Capture the OTP and click submit.
The username will be displayed on the screen
Here are the steps to retrieve a forgotten password:
• Click on the e-Filling link.
• Click on the Forgot Password tab.
• Enter your username and click on next.
• Indicate if you want your OTP to be sent to your email or your cell number.
• Click on OK to authorize.
• Capture OTP and click on submit.
• Insert your new password and retype it to confirm.
• Click on submit.
This will be followed by the taxpayer receiving a message that confirms that your password has been successfully.
